2017 PHR Fall Ball Major Team
PHR Baseball Association exists to promote and sponsor youth baseball and to encourage fair play, sportsmanship, and physical growth for youth up to the age of 12 years.
2017 Twelve Year Old Players
PHR initially served Pleasant Hills, Ridgeview, and Devon Manor and the surrounding areas. We now have over 150 players in four levels of baseball. With our home fields located within Brightbill Park, we serve the youth in northwestern Lower Paxton Township. PHR Baseball is a proud member of the Lower Paxton-West Hanover (LPWH) Midget Baseball League.
We are a private organization wholly staffed and coached by volunteers. The Board of Directors and the coaching staffs are committed to providing a positive environment and baseball experience for all PHR baseball players regardless of age or ability. Our coaches and adult volunteers act as role models and teachers to the players, not only in developing baseball skills and fielding competitive teams, but in developing good sportsmanship, integrity, and the enjoyment of the game. PHR Baseball measured success by the number of returning players each year and by the number of 12-year old players who “graduate” from PHR Baseball.
In addition to our Spring baseball season in LPWH, PHR Baseball also provides opportunities for our players to participate in off season baseball clinics and camps in the Summer and in the Winter, Summer tournaments, and the Linglestown Fall baseball league. Our LPWH major teams and the tournament teams have performed well.
PHR Baseball Association and its Board of Directors thank the continuous support of our sponsors, parents, and volunteers as well as the Dauphin County Commissioners and Lower Paxton Township with special thanks to Lower Paxton Parks and Recreation. With the combined efforts of our volunteers and community support, PHR Baseball Association will continue on for the mutual improvement through baseball in concepts of sportsmanship, fair play, physical growth, mental alertness, and good fellowship of the youth of Lower Paxton Township for many years.
